Meet Dr. KaRae'

“My mission is to help couples by  showing them how to turn up the heat in their marriages—taking it from simmer to sizzle and igniting more passion, romance, and connection into their realtionship.”—Dr. KaRae’

bride and grrom hold handsWhile I looked forward to married life, I soon found myself feeling misunderstood without room for my own self-expression. I found myself down, defeated, and divorced. Of course, in true divorcee fashion, I promised myself never to marry again. I committed to a life of serial dating that would lead me to life’s ultimate fulfillment and pleasure. After  “recovery” from the trauma and chaos that divorce brings, I was brave enough to approach another man I saw while he was at work, who eventually became my husband.

Enthusiastic about my new life and being married again, I vowed not to let lack of communication, letting myself get lost in the relationship, and misunderstandings plague me again. But they all did, with a vengeance. Soon, I was arguing at least three to five times daily with my new spouse about anything and everything. I began experiencing feelings of frustration, uncertainty, loneliness even though I was in a relationship, and wondering how I found myself in this place, yet once again. I was considering leaving my second husband, and even he admits that back then he was going to let me!

oneeyeopen

How did I go from sleeping with one eye open to being gooey eyed in love, again?

I found the courage to embark on a journey of self-discovery and relationship recovery that has transformed me in all areas of my life and my relationship. While I was brave enough and talented enough, to embark on the journey alone, I didn’t. I sought the help of many professionals along the way. I took the lessons I learned from them, merged it with my own knowledge, skills and abilities, did the work, and have manifested a Magnificent Marriage!

Let me tell you, the process isn’t easy, it takes a lot of work, and dedication, but it is very do-able!

The bottom line is that by treating yourself as the person who you admire and cherish the most in the world–by giving yourself permission for pleasure and embracing yourself by taking full responsibility for your own choices, making amends and taking back the reigns of your life, you too can have a realtionship where you and your mate are inseparable best friends.

I encourage you not to lie, hide and drown in shame and guilt about the current status of your relationship. You have the power and the authority to do something about it. Let me help you get back the freedom, joy, fulfillment, and the butterflies in your tummy that used to come when thinking about your significant other.

couple happy dip Here’s why I do what I do .. I want everyone to experience the peace, wholeness, and fulfillment in a relationship that brings them joy, and happiness everyday.

I hear you saying, “So your relationship is perfect?’’

My answer, “Noooo way.”

Am I still learning and growing and changing? Yes.

Do I fall off the wagon? Sure.

Am I going to share with you what I discover along the way? You bet.

Who better to be with you/supporting you on the journey than someone who understands your walk?  My daily journey in my own relationship allows me to hold the space for others who are along the journey.

I am here to help you heal yourself and your relationship. To accomplish your relationship goals, you can look forward resources, inspiration, and exploring infinite possibilities for a long, strong, loving relationship.

My goal is simple: Teach people how to prepare, enrich, or restore themselves so that they can have the best relationships with others.

I look forward to working with you on the journey.

Magnificently Yours,Dr. KaRae' Carey

What's New

December 10th, 2013

It is that time where we spend our days working, shopping, cooking, cleaning, traveling, hosting, being a guest, and wish granting. It is a wonder we call it is the “Most wonderful time of the year.” It’s that time of year. Yes, ‘that’ time. Where the hustle and bustle takes over daily life. That time where we look at the “lists” everyone has made for us and try to make their “dreams come true.”
